St. Catherine Of Alexandria

By Timothy P. Schmalz
Project Description

Usually depicted arguing with pagan philosophers, here Timothy has portrayed Catherine debating with ancient as well as contemporary thinkers. Nietzche, Darwin, Sartre, and Socrates are among some of the many figures portrayed forming a wheel referring to the “Catherine Wheel”, her instrument of torture, which she breaks by pointing to the heavens.

Small scale replicas available in quantities of 50 or more.
