About The Sculpture

An angel protectively shelters Mary and whispers in her ear. The right side of her veil is mysteriously lifted as if by a gentle breeze. Mary’s facial expression shows her astonishment at the joyful news, as her hand on her womb acknowledges the miracle that is occurring in her.
