This sculpture is the most simple, yet possibly one of the most powerful and dramatic works of art in this series. This sculpture created on the theme of Veronica wiping Christ`s face is created in a more minimalist style than the others. Veronica’s cloth blood stained with the image of Christ lays draped over a section of a stone wall as if placed there just moments after she wiped his face and returned to the sidelines to watch as He carries on with his painful journey.
