Three Dimensional Stations of the Cross I

This sculpture of Jesus being condemned to death depicts Christ in a simple and submissive standing position with arms at His sides ready to receive His sentence, Pontius Pilate sits up top of stairs between two giant columns symbolizing the weight of Rome that burdens his decision. The perplexed expression on Pilates face and body gestures along with the
stately steps and columns of his institution provides a fantastic contrast to the calm surrendered figure of Christ.
